10 SIGNS YOU'RE A SENSITIVE!

What is a SENSITIVE?

First things first is … what is a sensitive?

By definition (albeit, a google one), a sensitive is someone who is believed to respond to occult influences.

The term SENSITIVE is what I personally like to call an umbrella term – am I a sensitive? yes, however, I am specifically a clairvoyant like my mom, but while my dad is a sensitive, he is specifically an empath.

That’s why there are so many different signs pointing out if someone is a sensitive because there are so many specific labels that someone could be such as a clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient, clairscent, clairtangent, and so many, many more!

Below are ONLY ten signs that you might be a sensitive.

1. an interest/belief in the paranormal and/or dead; literally, one of the biggest telltale signs that someone is a sensitive is when they have an interest, or more accurately obsession, with the paranormal. I find this to be especially true with young children who typically aren’t exposed to the supernatural until they’re older. For example, a kid who is around 7-12 might obsessively read books about yellow fever or people who’ve died in the past such as Anne Frank or even murders like the Lizzie Borden case.

2. very, very vivid dreams; a lot of people have vivid dreams every once and awhile, but a sensitive will have vivid dreams quite often and can remember detail for detail the next day, or even days after. These dreams can also be reoccurring and will often tell stories or even be indicative of what is happening in real life. I highly recommend that people with vivid dreams always, always write down what they see in a “dream journal”.

3. you’ve seen things out of the corner of your eye such as white smoke, sparkles in the air, shadows, or other apparitions in the air; frequently, I mean, not just going on a ghost tour and seeing things once or twice.

4. sleep walking and/or sleep talking; our brains are actually the MOST active at night when we’re asleep and people who are sensitive to the paranormal frequently sleep walk and/or sleep talk.

5. an inordinate amount of coincidences; for example, have you ever found yourself thinking about a specific movie for no rhyme or reason then you turn on the TV and, lo and behold, as you’re scrolling through the channel, the movie happens to be on? Do you wake up in the middle of the night, only to look over at the clock and see it’s 11:11 or 4:44? Maybe once is coincidence, but often is a sign.

6. the ability to scan a room; have you ever walked into a room and felt a negative energy wash over you for no reason? Then you find out later from a gossiping friend that some drama occurred before you come in? I call this ability, scanning a room, and it is a pretty common sensitive sign as you are picking up on the emotions of what had happened.

7. you get tired easily; typically, sensitives take on the emotions of others when exposed to other people for extended periods of time and therefore, you’re using more energy than you actually realize and it might also explain why you prefer staying in while your friends prefer to go out.

8. your senses are amplified; sensitives can have highly amplified senses that others can’t taste, see, smell, hear, or feel and you may have experienced sensory problems as a child. Do you ever jump due to loud noises? Bright lights make you cringe? If so, you might be a sensitive.

9. tingling sensation or pressure between your eyebrows; this is your third eye and it typically only happens for two reasons. 1. you’re picking up energy signals. OR. 2. your chakras are opening up and/or growing.

10. you believe you’re a sensitive; more often than not, if you truly believe that you are a sensitive then guess what?! YOU’RE PROBABLY A SENSITIVE.
